allyouzombies: ssuge: I think…stuff like this made me not want to major in Art History anymore. I just stopped caring about how to interpret & evaluate…this. Postmodern art history is a joke. God I can’t tell you how many slide presentations I sat through of CUBES. Just boring cubes in galleries. Fuck you, 50s-70s art. Supposedly, there’s a current painting backlash against crap like this, and the new hotness is representational, emotive paintings, but I don’t think it’s quite as prevalent as some professors of mine …professed. So, post-Postmodern?
